Mary Adams Hall

The Hall at St. Mary’s is one of the largest in the district and has recently been comprehensively refurbished.

It is available for hire to organisations, groups or individuals and we welcome enquiries for regular bookings as well as single hires.

• The Hall is equipped with tables and chairs to seat 100 people.
• The Church has a large well lit Car Park that can accommodate at least 50 cars.
• Two large grassed areas opening off the Hall, suitable for children’s games areas or outside events.
• Newly re-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, cutlery, crockery etc and serving hatch to Hall.
• Separate bar room and drinks serving hatch.
• The hall has a good heating sytem and well appointed toilet facilities.

Cost of Hiring and Payment

The cost of hiring the hall will be discussed separately depending on the event. Payment should be made by BACS to:

Enquiries and Bookings 
Please be advised that from 25 January 2026 all use of the hall is suspended for health and safety reasons due to a recent structural issue brought to our atention.  We are in the process of getting it assessed and will let you know as soon as possible when the hall  will be available to book. If you have made a recent booking please contact Budge Wells on o7717 846792 and he will advise on the  likelihood of the hall being available.
